It is a good book for beginners of power electronics but mathematical derivations are cumbersome.There are few discrepancies in waveforms.But this book lacks practical emphasis.And some concepts like pulse width modulation inverters,DeMoran's chopper,Jones chopper etc., are absent or not clearly explained.So after reading this book read Rashid,Bose etc.,Ah! I forgot about this book Power electronics:converters applications and design by Robbins and Undeland.This is also a good book.

The delivery is pretty fast .it delivered on third day after ordering.and talking about book.it is good content book and received in good condition (not used).
