Power System: Analysis and Design contains a comprehensive overview of the fundamental aspects of power systems. In total, there are 20 chapters in this book. B. R. Gupta is an author, consultant, and former professor.

Apart from this book, Gupta has written Question Bank in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Fundamentals of Electrical Networks, Consumer Electronics, and Generation of Electrical Energy.

Gupta is a former Professor of Electrical Engineering, who taught at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. He currently serves as a Visiting Professor and Consulting Engineer at the same college. He has more than 35 years’ experience as a teacher. He has also been presented with several awards for his research work. Gupta is a part of the Institution of Engineers (India) and a Senior Member of the IEEE.
