    An obviously non-obvious observation book

The book exposes us to fallacies and pitfalls of human tendencies. As they say, knowing a problem is equal to half solution. Must read for all age group.

Every marketer should buy this book..

If you are into sales and marketing.. and wish to know why a person buys a particular stuff, then just grab this book.. It will make you a lot wiser!

If it comes to selling a product, then its always desirable to know which pricing model will be the best. But market research is not always accurate in helping us to make this decision.. It is always the irrational nature of the buyer which confuses the product creators and marketers. Although no one can ever predict precisely why a Product A i...

A different perspective on daily occurings

If someone told a perfectly sane person that he or she was irrational and predictably so, more often than not, she/he would get weird looks. This book is exactly about that! The author proves through his experiments, some of them unconventional and some very mundane, that in each human being lies an irrational undercurrent which is shaped by experiences and stereotypes. Irrational behavior is more common than assumed to be. Reading this book would perhaps make us wary of possible irrational b...

    No revision or Expansion

I had read the previous edition of this book and liked it a lot. I bought the second edition as it is said to be illustrated and updated but to my utter disappointment this is word-to-word same as that of the previous edition.
    Time and money wasted.

(Though I noticed on last paragraph of page-202 a single word 'between' is inserted rest I found to be all same.)

    learn through experiments

Clearly cites how people in their everyday life can be irrational and the most unbelievable thing is that we don't understand that people can be at times irrational and can take decisions out of blue without any reason but due to their emotions they are carried away and thus make irrational decisions. Best thing is that author dan arialy presents the logic of irrationality with fantastic and easy examples to understand such complex phenomenon called irrationality. excellent and remarkable boo...
