Could have been better

An interesting read, but after a point it is very monotonous. Some of the chapters are too boring and lengthy, while some have not been concluded powerfully. Lacks the punch here and there. But it has got me thinking, especially before I purchase anything these days!

must read for all..

Dan Ariely beautifully explains the predictable irrationality of human mind. The book is written with a scientific perspective backed by experiments, though is the read is non technical and pleasant and absolutely mind blowing.

Ironical :D

We think that we make at least the best decisions for ourselves, but this book is an eye opener. Must read & its funny and definitely smart.
Reminds me of a book called "Surely You'Re Joking Mr Feynmann".

Very insightful

Much better than Freakonomics. A must read for Policy makers, Marketing & HR professionals.
Dan has made a systematic analysis of our irrational behavior. Unlike Freakonomics, this book has a uniform pace throughout.
Still, these authors are explicit in their American perspective. Do they write only for American readers?
