This is an excellent book for CAT DI preparation. It has got lots of practice exercises and ample examples of various kinds. As far as the LR part is concerned, number of exercises is less but again examples are very illustrative and span over a very wide domain. A must buy for people who want to hone their DI skills for the CAT.



Well one more thing, this book was my first buy from flipkart. Like any other first-timer I had little faith in e-shopping and so opted for the COD facility. But ...

Let me start by saying that this is the only decent book on DI & LR which is available in the market. But does that make it a 'must buy' or even 'worth a buy'?

I don't think so. My reason for saying that is not the price of the book but the content. It is too voluminous to start with. It just covers various types of DI & LR questions. It is very repetitive in nature and if a student should not spend too much time solving it. A student's time can be better used elsewhere.

The book is pretty good for Data Interpretation and logical reasoning. Can be also used to prepare for e-litmus exam as well.

Before buying this book we all must have searched the market and asked for suggestions for any book on LR/DI. This book must have got the maximum "YES". And its true.

However after reading this book, I find that the topics are extensively covered and this makes me feel bored sometimes. Its advisable to have a material of any reputed coaching institute and then finsh the syllabus from there.

The price of the book and the delivery, both were excellent from Flipkart. The book was delivered the next day of my placing the order. Although I did not use the book much, but that's a different story.

Best book to practice DI and LR for CAT.
If you are able to finish LR portion of this book you can solve CAT LR caselets with ease.
DI is given from the very basic and is very helpful for everyone doesn't matter whether you are strong or weak in this section

But after buying this book......What all you get in it?

-Lots and lots of DI practice....
-Quite a few practice on LR....
-model test paper
-mock test paper.....

This book is important not only because it offers a lot to practice but also to develop a mind set....

So now i will be buying the VA book of arun sharma....

FOR ME I THINK PRACTICALLY THERE IS NO OTHER BOOK THAT CAN MATCH THIS ONE!!

The comprehensive writing of arun sharma is nice.The level of difficulty was also good its just that i need more practice with this.........................................................................................................................................................................................
