Description

Pride and Prejudice is a delightful social satire of 18th century England. The book revolves around the heart-warming story of the love between Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet.

Summary of the Book

Elizabeth Bennet is the second of five daughters of an English country gentleman. Unaccustomed to social situations, Elizabeth has to attend a ball where she meets Fitzwilliam Darcy, a man who acts haughty and arrogant towards her and towards the ball in general. Eventually, chance puts her in Darcy's path several times, and she discovers that Mr. Darcy isn't all that bad after all.

About Jane Austen

Jane Austen was the daughter of a well-off clergyman from Hampshire. She was the sixth in a family of five sons and two daughters. Jane began her career by writing parodies and sketches for her family members. She is known for her uneventful and placid life, but she was highly sensitive to what went on around her. She has authored several novels like Sense and Sensibility, Mansfield Park and Emma.

A great piece of work

The book will never fail to leave a long standing impression in your mind and is a great gift to us. Such a beautifully written classic and romantic piece of work.
It might be difficult initially to get along but later on, you will never be able to put it down until you reach the last page.

Buy a better print to enjoy fully.

I would not like to comment on the content of the book here as its known to all that it is a masterpiece. But what I would certainly not want the readers to buy this edition/print of the book. It will ruin your experience. The print quality along with the paper quality is very poor and its not comfortable to read. Its like watching a super hit, blockbuster movie in a cheap third class movie theater.
Instead of saving some money, save a great experience you will get after reading this book in...

Full of unforgettable characters!

Though it might be hard to believe when you read it in today's age...this book was one of the early kinds of feminist literature that was written in England. Essentially, it is a love story but is definitely a satirical one. In bits autobiographical and very "English", this is a book that everybody should read at least once in their lifetime.
If you are new to classic literature, this would be the best book to begin a new kind of reading with :)

Not a collection item

The book is authentic but cheap. Not something you'd want to keep for your personal collection. But if you just want to read the book anyway and not spend much this is just fine and dandy
