In the ancient times of a barren land raged a war, one that could've very well spelt the annihilation of all of mankind. Luckily, the era also housed a hero, one who will do everything within his power to put an end to the rising foe.
A single-player action-adventure PC game with a PEGI rating of 12, the storyline of Prince of Persia (2008) follows a battle between two Gods, Ahriman and Ormazd. After the imprisonment of the evil one, Ahriman, the followers of Ormazd, the Ahura, vowed to safely keep the dreaded God at bay while their own left the world. However, 1000 years later, after believing that the legendary war was a myth, the Ahura have forgotten about their promise and abandoned the prison of Ahriman. Now, an ancient evil reawakened, all of Persia, as well as the world, is endangered by the terrifying Ahriman, the God of darkness! All that stands between the obliteration of the world and its protection is a mighty warrior.
Developed by Ubisoft, the gameplay of Prince of Persia is very unique as it hosts an open-world environment where the central character is allowed to move and do as he pleases. The story and challenges that you are confronted by are based around the choices that you make, thereby giving a very realistic feel to this game as things aren’t entirely predetermined. The protagonist is an expert at acrobatics and a sword fighting warrior. With a whole new combat system and a magic-wielding AI companion, this game has a lot to offer to a gamer who wishes to experience pure thrills and define his or her own fate!

Not related to the POP series but AWESOME!
THIS GAME HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER POP GAMES. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY THEY NAMED IT PRINCE OF PERSIA.
But this is an awesome game. The graphics and artistic quality in every frame is much better than earlier POP games.

A Fresh Prince. A New Adventure.
When I purchased this game, the only retailer with a copy was Tech4u. And it turns out I got the worst product purchase from Flipkart ever: I received a BROKEN Plastic DVD case. I opened the case (which was barely closed) and the DVD was loose inside because the disc locking mechanism was broken too. A manual was present. Intolerable was when I discovered the reflective surface of the DVD was scratched (albeit very minor), probably due to poor quality of the case.

Prince of Persia - Reborn in a visually brilliant environment
Minimal HUD (Heads-up Display).
An epic Story.
And a new gameplay.
This is not a sequel to any Prince of Persia game.
If you have liked any of Ubisoft's games before, you will love this experience :)
About the disc itself:
Good packaging.
The game is installed one-time and you don't need the disc to play again.
Will not connect to your U-Play account.
I have not tried installing it on multiple computers.
