Cracking the TOEFL iBT was published in 2011, and is meant for students who wish to clear the TOEFL test in order to gain admission into the English-speaking universities worldwide. TOEFL (The Test Of English as a Foreign Language) evaluates an individual on his/her ability to use English in an academic setting, and its scores are taken as a criteria for admission in many universities. Some of the topics covered in this book include orientation, and core concepts, including reading, listening, speaking, and writing. There are also assorted drills on these topics accompanied by the explanations for the answers. The highlights of this book are as follows- a full-length simulated TOEFL iBT with accompanying audio sections on an MP3 CD, audio exercises on the CD to hone listening skills, tips on organizing and focusing essay-writing skills, practical information on the TOEFL like when and where to take it, and additional grammar review to brush up on the basics.
