Buy it if you love Physics, if you love marks then its definitely not recommendable
First let me clarify, I have not brought this book from Flipkart. I had had this book before Flipkart was even conceived.
This is one of my favourite books and I apologize beforehand if any of the matter written below sounds condescending.
This is a book for Physics lovers. Each and every concept is dealt with possibly the best way. If there are 3 books which can be considered as the Gospels of Physics this has to be one of them (along with Sears, Zemansky and the NCERT books).

Best for Learning Physics, not for class 11th or 12th
If you want to learn and understand physics in clear and concise manner than this book is perfectly for you and you will start loving physics after reading this. But this book is strictly no for the students who are aiming to score high marks in their terminal examination.
It is not set according to your Board syllabus.

A Must Buy for Science Students

One of the best books ever written in physics. It basically defines physics : the study of nature and natural phenomenon.
This book is self explanatory. Once you have read a particular topic then believe me you will know it better than your teacher.

Best book of IIT-JEE
This book is really a class book from resnick halliday.. U can master any topic after reading from this book. Since,the numericals is of very high standard it must be only solved after completing H.C. Verma...Again it is a best book for concepts........

A:It's good for theory. But if you also want to attempt numerical for jee or other competition its theory will be more time consuming and no that efficient. I'll rather suggest HC Verma
