Good book with bad paper quality

The content of the book is just awesome - Covers a range of topics which will be useful to all : from the very beginners to Advanced users. But the paper quality is really bad. May be because of the large number of pages - nearly 1500 pages.

The best book for intermediate and advanced users

This is the best book for intermediate to advanced or expert users, but not the best for beginners, though it can be used by beginners but they will have to read multiple times.
For others this books delivers all most all topics in C#, WPF along with deep tutorial on ADO.NET(3 dedicated chapters!).
It includes examples for every topics
It give important notes that may otherwise go unnoticed, where ever necessary.
This book is concise and 'to the point', it doesn't give endless pages of explan...

Best book ever for C#

This book is the best book for C# and I found this very helpful while I started learning advanced topics of C#.

This book covers LINQ, EF, Parallel and Async programming in greater detail.

This book contains everything for a Novice (so it will be a little bulky)

For Novice(starters), this is a good book. C# Nutshell is also good but it is very specific and does not cover everything a bit (what you will get would be C# 4.0) but this one include bits and pieces for wpf, wcf and workflow technologies view at initial stage which is personally feel helps you a lot when you move for other technologies in .Net framework.

Good for Intermediate Programmers

Good book for Beginners as well as intermediate developers.

In this each and every concept was explained in detail. You will get more knowledge about c# and new 4.5 framework for sure.

A Must Read for every .net developer

One of the best C# and .net books i ever read. I highly recommend Professional Series books from Apress. These books touch the most important aspects for in-depth understanding of the technology as does this one. Though .net framework 4.5 is obsolete, this book is still a good read, Consider buying 7th Edition of this book, if you want to stay updated.

I am amazed at this book.
Andrew Troelson is quite a known name in .net,but i didn't knew it would be this great.

even though the book mentions "Pro" in its title..rest assured..it will be helpful for a total beginner in .net as well..trust me I am one..not a total newbie in programming(C from KnR).
I've tried a host of C# books: From the Uber "C# in depth by Jon Skeet"(though that's an amazing book,but not for beginners imho) and "C# in a nutshell"
