Great book for beginners

I have rated this book only 4 stars for it's price, which seems a little steep...

This is a nice book for people trying to learn OpenGL ES 1.0. Most part of the book talks of various aspects starting from basic vertices and polygons to effects like lens flare, etc. Its a nice book to have as a reference.

One thing I would have loved to have mentioned here was tips about importing custom 3d models creating using tools like Blender. The authors here use algorithms to calculate the vertices, ...

Good one

this is a good book, however if you are a beginner in Android OpenGL es this is not what you should start with. i would have liked it more if the opengl es co-ordinate system would have been explained in a bit more details.
