The author of this book, Igor Irodov, was a renowned Physicist from Russia.

Irodov was born on the 16th of November, 1923, in RSFSR. He attended the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute and completed his degree in Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the year 1954. Irodov began to work as an assistant in the Department of Physics of the same university. Since the year 1977, he served as the Professor of The Chair of “General Physics”. Irodov passed away on the 22nd of October, 2002.
