  • Description
When most of us are busy perfecting our lives, Nitya is already an Einstein in her own forte. Ever since her early childhood, Nitya has grown up believing that she is the chosen one, with some manufacturing defect. Strangely enough, she refuses to regret it; in fact she is obsessed with it. However, hounded by slanderous perfectionists from all sides, she finds herself trapped under perpetual pressure, to perform. The more she strives for excellence, the greater blunders she commits. In her relentless pursuits of perfection, she faces some of the most uproarious and stupefying predicaments that have turned her life around. Spanning over five decades, right from the Hippie era of the seventies, to the turn of the dynamic millennium, her story is an insightful reminiscence of her mysterious past, laden with trapped memories that have long haunted her. What shadows does her past hide and what will become of her growing obsession? Read only if you really want to know!

    A fiction one must read.

It starts with such impeccable writing which makes you stick to it until you gulp all of what goes around Nitya, until you know what happens with her, until you reach the final page of this novel.

I knew Manisha ma'am was a writer but this piece of her work was quite impressive and its totally worth it.

Personally, I loved it and i guess so would you who have a good taste in fiction :)

    I love it

The very name of the novel is exquisitely phenomenal, This book holds a strange enigma. Often we see such identities in our life, who are unnoticed, obscured and forgotten , we never realize there are cornucopia of colors splattering, merging within a person. People are too myopic and critical to their happiness.
I wish all the Best to such an articulate and a beautiful writer.

A brilliant novel for a debut

The book got delivered one afternoon and I finished it by the next morning. If you are a voracious reader, I am telling you will reach the last page before even realizing it. Each chapter keeps you thoroughly occupied and interested with the varied reminiscences of the protagonist, Nitya. I would like to congratulate the author on her ability to keep the reader engrossed, at times by mixing humor in the reckless mistakes committed by Nitya, and at others giving food for thought through her wr...
