You Are Here (English, Paperback, Reddy Meenakshi Madhavan)
Arshi is twenty-five years old and she still has no clue as to how she is going to set things right in her life. Whether it is work or her personal life, everything seems to be going downhill and there is nothing she can rejoice.
Summary of the Book
Arshi’s life is a mess and it doesn’t seem like any good is going to come out of her efforts to make it otherwise. To begin with, her blonde mother has been trying too hard to fit into the Indian society and has been welcoming their guests with a traditional aarti. Nothing can get more embarrassing than a parent whose popularity is rising because of reasons that are not considered 'cool'. The man that Arshi is hitting on doesn’t seem to be showing my interest and even when he does, it just isn’t enough. Her flatmate is frustrated because her parents are not happy with her decision to marry her boyfriend and Arshi’s boss is a scoundrel. What Arshi craves right now is a whole lot of alcohol and love. This is a hilarious story that many of us who are single will be able to relate to.
