Summary of the Book

Everybody loves Uncle Ken, including Ruskin Bond. On every one of his visits to Grandma’s house, Uncle Ken has always experienced some sort of trouble. In this book, he crashes his car into a wall and is even mistaken for a cricketer. Some of the freaky incidents include him being chased by swarm of bees, haunted by a mischievous ghost and is attacked by flying foxes. Whether it the many bicycle rides with the author or his useless attempts at finding a job, Uncle Ken is going to have you falling off your chair in laughter. About Ruskin Bond

Ruskin Bond is an Indian writer of British descent. He was recognized by The Indian Council for Child Education for his role in the growth of children’s literature in India. For this, he was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1992 for his work Our Trees Still Grow in Dehra. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1999, and again in 2014. Today, he lives with his adopted family in Landour, near Missoorie.
