Love Like That And Other Stories is a collection of short stories penned by bestselling authors. The stories are set in locations as diverse as buses, trains and classrooms, and explore the trials and tribulations of young love.

    Summary Of The Book

Love Like That And Other Stories is an anthology of stories featuring the experiences and emotions of young lovers penned by well known authors like Sheba Karim, Jerry Pinto, Milan Vohra and Ira Trivedi.

In her story, Anjali and Ashish are always at loggerheads with each other. Ashish is the classroom nerd whereas Anjali is a rebel. When they are forced to don the characters of Romeo and Juliet for a play, they forge a surprising bond that puts an end to their never ending bickering.

Shayari meets Matus on a train journey from Brussels to Paris. Will he be her co-traveller on the journey of life too? Milan Vohra’s Sandwich Soulmates talks about Prithvi and Mahira, who over a sandwich learn that they have a lot in common including a passion for soul music. Jerry Pinto tells the story of Shanaya and Rishab who keep their romance alive in spite of the constant intrusion by Rishab’s parents and siblings.

    pretty good

I find most of the new lot of Indian writing that's coming out completely pathetic. Most writers can't even seem to string a sentence well together leave alone a thought. My sister got this book home from a friend and as is quite common with us, I finish reading her books much faster than she does. This one is quite decent. The short stories are mostly well written, imaginative and use different styles well to tell a tale. I finished it in a day but if like my sister you want to know which 3 ...

    A book for keeps

Excellent collection...The stories are sweet. Funny. Sad.Witty.Hopeful.Everything love should be.Only one I felt that was not just not up to the mark was 'How to date a 12 year old'. Toooo long. Boring. Could easily be half.Title story 'Love like that' very different. Interesting. Best story is saved for last.'It's not fiction'. It's short but well told. You will want to read it again.
@ flipkart: thanks for the great deal as always

    Very sweet book

I picked it up for my younger sis and ended up reading it also.
Very sweet collection. my fave story is this one by Milan Vohra where this very cynical girl meets a guy in a sandwich shop and how they find their wavelengths just match in so many ways! Another sweet one is by Jerry Pinto about a 13 year old boy who asks a girl out for a prom. So funny! Something like that happened when i was 14!I finished off reading the book in one day!

    Not good

I bought the book, hoping that the short stories would be good enough for a short time break. But to my disappointment, the stories really aren't that great. I guess, I better stick to my novel reading only

    Definitely Worth a Read.

All Indian authors, all Indian stories. It is a breath of fresh air among all the short stories mostly available only by foreign authors. Also its freshness and simplicity will not fail to delight the readers.

    Fun and not too mushy

Anything my girlfriend tries to get me to read is usually just too mushy man. When she gave me this book, I was thinking I'll just flip through & say I've read it. Ended up reading it anyway. But these stories are pretty interesting. Guys will enjoy them too. Go for it.
