| Author Info | - Satyapal Singh 'Manbhar', author of the poetry book 'Kavitanjali', was born on July 8, 1963 in Chopra Maheshpur village of Baghpat district. At the age of 20, in 1983, he joined the banking institution, State Bank of Patiala, Regional Office, Connaught Place, New Delhi as a clerk and typist and after completing 10 years and 6 months of service, resigned from the service in December 1993. Thereafter, in January 1994, he joined the Revenue Department of the Uttar Pradesh Government as Naib Tehsildar and after getting promoted in the PCS cadre, he successfully completed nearly 30 years of government service while working on Deputy Collector and other respectable posts and retired in the year 2023. Since he has been directly associated with the common people of urban and rural environment in the administrative service of the state, he has received due respect by giving his services to the society. He has deeply felt the various components of nature, the present human condition and human sensitivity and the poignant situation created by the deadly Covid pandemic. In his opinion, the exploitation of nature and its destruction is a worrying and frightening scenario. He has a deep attachment towards the love of nature and humanity. On the basis of the experiences felt during his service period, he has expressed the feelings awakened in his mind by weaving them into words and giving them the form of poems in the form of 'Kavitanjali'. The liveliness of the poem is proved only if the sensitivity and message hidden in the poems touches the heart of the reader, otherwise it remains just a collection of a few words.
