Purchased quite a few hefty volumes to master C#....but had to fall back on this to clear all the basic concepts before taking up the hefty volumes again....
Must have for all beginners of C# as well for advanced developers to refresh basic concepts.

A good book by Balagurusamy. For starter it is a good book. It contains a lot of things that help you to get started with the language. It misses a few topics like I/O programming(File read and write) and Windows Forms(just basic overview).
It is recommended for those only who want to know basics of C#(like for those who want ASP.Net with C#).
