The shoes are nice in terms of looks. As far as the comfort goes, the original insoles are a bit thin and you will feel it when you walk on uneven, gritty or rocky surfaces, I wore it for a hike on a Rocky, gritty trail and after 2-3 hours of walking, I could feel my feet aching. I'm not sure of how the water repellent feature works on this shoes, but i can tell you this, the shoes will be wet if the vamp area of the shoe comes in contact with the water.

Excellent Shoes, very comfortable, helpful in agility, the ankle height is good enough to fit firmly. Great design, weight is neither much nor less, but it is pretty light weight in my opinion. The reflector embedded stitching looks good as well.
