    What began as an IT Software company in the year 2000 that worked on embedded platforms, Micromax, transformed itself into a mobile handset venture that steadily gained commercial success so as to become one of Indias largest companies that produces domestic mobile handsets. Micromax primarily produces and provides mobile phones, tablet computers, data cards, LED TVs and 3G. The company has become popular for its unique high tech phones that are sold at economically viable prices. The metamorphosis of this firm was led by four friends, namely; Rahul Sharma, Rajesh Agarwal, Sumeet Arora, and Vikas Jain, who segregated the responsibilities of the firm among themselves based on their functional lines.

    The Micromax Ninja series is an entry level Android phone series that provides excellent features of entertainment and connectivity. Most of the phones in this series have a multi-touch screen that display colours very vividly. The largest screen size holder in this series is the Ninja A91 with a size of 4.5-inches. All of the Ninja smartphones have a 1 GHz processor (mostly dual-core) and either an Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS or an Android Gingerbread OS that enhance and thrust the smartphones processing powers might. Differing resolution capacities of the primary cameras of the Ninja series, that range from 2 megapixel to 5 megapixel, are able to capture, in the blink of an eye, clear and good quality images. The WiFi, 3G and dual-SIM features add and sum up to grant a great connectivity.
