    Veet Wax Strips For Beautiful, Smooth Skin 

    Smooth velvety skin is something we all love, but getting your hands and legs waxed can be a painful ordeal. Also, taking time off your busy schedule to fix an appointment at your local salon can be difficult. You don’t have to worry about this anymore though. With the new Veet wax strips, you can remove all unwanted hair from your hands and legs painlessly, from the confines of your home. These ready to use wax strips are specially formulated, acting almost like liquid, coating different lengths of our hair. Clinically approved, Veet is known to remove hair that is as short as 1.5mm or 1/16 inch as well, so you don’t have to wait for your hair to grow before you wax again. 

    How To Use Veet Wax Strips At Home 

    If you plan on getting yourself these wax strips, you will need to know how to use them.  Firstly, apply a little of the wax on a target area, along with the wipe that comes with it. This is done to ensure that you don’t have an allergic reaction to the wax strips. If you are using this product for the first time, try it on a small part of your legs, as the skin on your legs is less sensitive as opposed to the rest of your body. Don’t try it on your bikini line. If your skin does not react negatively, you have the green signal to go ahead with the waxing. Clean the part of the skin on hands or legs, that needs to be waxed. You can scrub away the area with a cloth or have a shower. This will remove any oiliness, residue, dirt or grime, so that the hair can be removed properly. 

    Use a dry cloth to wipe off the water. Your skin needs to be dry because moisture will prevent the wax strips from working properly.  You need to warm the wax strips. For this, all you need to do is rub the strips between your palms for a few seconds.  After this, peel away the covering of the strip. Place it on your skin, and rub the strip onto your skin along the grain of the hair. For example. You will have to rub in the direction of the knee to the ankle, and the elbow to your wrists. After you’ve rubbed the strips along the grain of the hair, peel the strip as fast as you can, in the opposite direction or against the grain. Don’t pull the strip in an outward direction, it can break your hair, and can become tough to remove. You can now wipe the waxed area with the cloth that is provided. You can have a shower or wash your hands and legs if you want to completely remove all traces of the wax.

    Things to keep in mind

    Waxing at home is great because you can do it whenever you want. And it won’t burn a hole in your pocket. However, here are a few things that you need to keep in mind when waxing:If your skin shows any signs of allergy, do not use the product. Wash the affected area with cool water, and if the rash or allergy gets worse and doesn’t subside, consult your doctor. Avoid using any deodorants, colognes or perfumes for about 24 hours after waxing. Your skin is usually tender after waxing because the hair has been removed. Using these products can cause discomfort.

    Diabetic and elderly people should avoid using these wax strips. People who have skin disorders like psoriasis or any rash should avoid it too.  Don’t use them on sensitive areas.
