ICAI material has many mistakes and a book like this comes to our rescue. This book serves the very purpose of not getting confused with various formulae and the steps that follow it. they have given a very good method of giving the steps of solving the problem in order which avoids any confusion. but one hitch is that because of detailed explanation of every particular thing the length of the chaps seem never ending and therefore very dissuading. It contains plenty of solved examples of all the types of questions that one can expect in CA CPT. It also contains proper theory in required details and a fairly large number of exercise questions.

This is the worst book I have ever read. I don't know why there are these many mistakes in this book. You can get more examples in Calculus. And explanation is good in Statistics chapters. I recommend you to go for it.

Very good. Answered in simple steps. All possibilities are taken and answered. Some symbols are used, how to pronounce these symbols is not told.

Language is sometimes hard also it messes up sometimes.But for practice its good.Plenty of examples and well written.
