If one has completed a good book on quantum mechanics and wants to go further, this book is the first step and almost complete step to reach the levels close to contemporary research. QFT, after reading from this book, is no longer something which can be understood by only a few people in the world but a logical, simple and elegant theory of the world.

Readers who are willing to indulge in QFT must keep a copy of trusty Peskin-Schroeder at their side but if they're courageous enough to embark upon the path integral formulation of QFT then this book offers awesome insight into the subject. Zee's style can be regarded as Griffith's on steroids and it'll bode well with enthusiastic readers.
