A novel book for Quantum Mechanics

It has lot of solved examples which are generally asked in many competitive exams. The most attractive thing is its presentation i.e. solving method. I highly recommend this book for students which are preparing for NET exam or under graduation or post graduation. The study material is really organised and student friendly.

Helpful when used with another reference book

This is very good book containing lots of worked examples but the author could have done better to avoid lot of typos. Even a simple thing as the Time Dependent Schrodinger equation has a typo in it. These typos can lead to loss of perspective when doing a problem. Although there are plenty of problems in the book, some problems are repeated here and there probably just to fulfill the promise of 500 problems.

Pros:
1. Well Organised
2. Student Friendly
3. Plenty of problems

Cons:
1. Lots of...

Not Bad

Book is not bad as a text but there are better options available in the market.I believe sometimes a student who is reading it by himself will find difficult.Later on I have gone through other books like Shankar,Griffith and Sakurai etc. They are far better compared to this one.
Flipkart delivery was good.

PROBLEMS WITH SOLUTIONS WITH NO CONCEPTS

On the face of it, the book's name is apt. The account of problems are good, especially the QM - I part. But the QM - II Part(Perturbation et al) is a big disappointment. For first timers, this will be a clean bowled feeling. I suggest Aruldas to involve little bit of illustration on topics and then have a marathon of problems. This could be as compendium or addendum. One good book on this subject which is short with theoretical elaboration too is of Robert Scherrer. Aruldas should bring some...

Good quality product

It is a good book for problem solving perspective in Quantum Mechanics and it also covers a wide range of problems. This book continuously works on the increment of difficulty level as well.
So the conclusion is that this book will be helpful if one is interested in problem solvingor preparing for competative exam.
