Best book in Indian market to start with basics of quantum mechanics and statistical physics. After completing this book you can start with Griffith quantum mechanics(B.Sc. level) and then the legendary book, Modern quantum mechanics by JJ Sakurai(M.Sc. level), principle of quantum mechanics by R. Shankar(M.Sc. Level).
