Rainy Days, a gripping and beautiful account of love, romance and entrepreneurship

Rainy Days, gradually grips and captures you so much, its tough to take a break; I have read it through small spaces between my work, lunch, dinner and on one Saturday night, I just couldn't stop reading till the last page; it was almost Sunday dawn! The subject, though, is just another love story, but the author has filled a lot of life in to it. The emotions that flow don't seem imaginary; they are so real and true, every reader would surely relates to her or his life somewhere.

    I must sa...

a curious and unusual love story...A must read...

    some excerpts:

We both laughed mildly, and then, there was silence for a few moments. I couldn't quite believe that I was sitting there with her; it could well have been a dream. Imagine meeting a pretty girl at a cricket match that is ruined due to rain, following her, and taking her out for lunch two days later. and there we were, sitting at S'adonner indulging in each other's eyes.

It was almost as if her heart had taken hold of her; longing for romance had pushed aside her thoughtful a...

    Rainy Days

For a first novel I truly admire the flow and the story line by the author. The language is pretty impressive .A love story with twists and turns which are captivating.
Though the beginning few pages were directionless the theme caught on and I did not put the book down till I had completed it.

Rainy days - Rainbow of emotions with an unexpected ending...

The book starts with some brilliant analogies with a lot of depth. Then it gradually sets the plot and takes you to the story and this transformation is excellent. Once the story starts, the emotions and background thread of the story are kept in perfect balance throughout. Each chapter having it's own essence and plot and yet it connects perfectly to the next one. Although the book takes you through a rainbow of emotions , i should say Romance is the best described of all. The way it is desc...

    Rainy Days: A Good Read!

Back and forth like the rain which unleashes its force depending on the wind’s movement, the chapters in the novel dive back into memories and then whoosh…move back into the present.

The story is simple, narrated well, enabling the reader to easily feel all that the protagonist Raghav goes through. No hi-funda stuff here. And that is why the novel touches that chord in the heart making you feel that someone else thinks, feels and believes like you.

The brief introduction about the author, S...

Something for everyone in this book

This book has something for everyone in it. For those who are the new members of the reading club, it is one the best options available to get started with. For those who love romantic novels, they will love it as the book is full of beautiful emotions and twists. The author has added his interesting philosophical thoughts which makes the book even more interesting especially for those readers who like philosophy. The best part about the book is the flow which will keep your interested till ...

    Refreshing and simple

A refreshing, simple and interesting read - that is how I would describe the book. It steers clear from the Indian author stereotype - no language usage that is trying to impress the reader real hard of the author's vocabulary and no underlying tone of melancholy.

The author has woven a love story, ambitions, priorities, choices, decisions, passion, obsession, loss, gain etc seamlessly and beautifully into the story. For a first book, this is definitely commendable effort. Looking forward...

Read it.. It takes you through the journey of varied emotions!! - Good Experience!!

From the moment I opened this book and to the very end, the flow - of emotions, of love, and of feelings - was so smooth that it dragged me along effortlessly. The story has an up - down - up - down nature that draws you to get involved, and slowly but surely you start feeling for the characters (especially Raghav). The writing is such that it compels you to visualize the scenes. Yes, it has its share of flaws. It starts of brilliantly, but gets kind of predictable towards the middle. But it ...

    Honest Gripping and Simple!

Let’s say you want to buy a book for a good read. What would you expect of it? Some would prefer romance, some may want to read a mystery, and a few may want to read about philosophy, maybe. And most importantly, it should tell a story that doesn’t bore you.
What if all of this was embedded in one book? Rainy Days offers you just that. True, it is not a story about two great lovers, there is no thrilling murder mystery that’s solved nor does the author get so deeply philosophical that at tim...

Am commenting based on the breif intro
    to the Book.

Good to see the author work on the duel-theme of chase & love. And the sudden checks!

Most of us face this. Often, many chases at one time, and the
author is presenting one such chase- depends on what drives us most at the particular point of life. Depression, rainy days, our ways of handling the situation- either collapsing, or coming
out as a new person without attachment or finding an alternate passion to chase!

    Can't wait to read...
