A good read.
This is India’s first English novel which was originally planned to be a grand book, but ended up being a lesser-known novella. Bankim Chandra Chatterjee wrote the novel in English back in the early 1900s but due to the fact that not many people would understand or read it, he abandoned English as a medium and later began writing it in Bengali. A major work of fiction.

Simply awesome
