This game follows the adventures that ex-Green Beret John Rambo ensues in the films First Blood, First Blood II and Rambo III. In this game, Rambo is confronted by a town full of police officers who have been corrupted; he is sent to Vietnam to rescue prisoners of war where he must battle countless communist soldiers; and, he must embark on a journey to Afghanistan where, along with the help of the mujahideen, he battles Soviet forces so he can rescue his dear friend Green Beret Colonel Trautman.

Through the use of stealth, the player has to combat and slay numerous enemies with the use of knives, guns, bombs, rocket launchers and much more! The cover system has to be used to evade incoming fire. The game features destructible terrain and ragdoll physics for animated characters, therefore making it much more realistic. A rail shooter, this game sees Rambo following the storyline in a strict manner and sticking to a specific route, thereby letting you be Rambo the way he is in the movies.
