Deepak Chopra was born in the year 1946, in New Delhi. He graduated in Medicine from the prestigious AIIMS, and is a member of the AMA (American Medical Association). He has two children - Gotham Chopra and Mallika Chopra. He runs his own medical center, which stresses on self-healing and mind-body connections. Chopra is a regular columnist and writers for The Times of India. He studied Ayurveda under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
