The Red Pyramid is the first part of The Kane Chronicles, an Egyptian-mythology-based fantasy series about the Kane siblings. This graphic novel captures the epic storytelling of Rick Riordan's original novel.
Summary of the Books
When Carter Kane and his father Julius travel to London to visit Carter's sister Sadie, who has been living with their grandparents for the past six years, he finds that Julius is acting strangely nervous and edgy. Carter visits the London museum and summons Osiris, the Egyptian god of the Dead with the Rosetta Stone. His lack of control summons Isis, Horus, Set and Nepthys as well, and Julius is imprisoned by Set. Carter and Sadie go to Brooklyn and discover that their father's side is descended of the Pharaoh Narmer, while their mother's side is descended from Ramsses the Great. Soon, their adventures take them to Cairo, where they must master heiroglyphic magic to once again imprison the Egyptian Gods, for if they do not, all is lost.
