very good phone. worth a buy.
but i would suggest go for the 32gb variant.
the fingerprint sensor takes atleast a second to open.

Pros: Finger print scaner.. big battery, 16 GB/ 2GB memory,5.5inch full hd screen still fits well in hand,lightweight metal body that doesn't heat. reading n sunlight modes works well. cameras are ok.performance is good.

Cons-As screen is the most important part ..note 3 have no gorilla or asg glass,
screen doesn't look like full HD..
Even 2 year old Lenovo A7000's HD screen is better in resolution,brightness,colour repro...

Delivery from flip-kart was late but its due to Bangalore problems and i think it reasonable.

The build quality is good but not upto xiomi's earlier phones
The durability of the phone is weak for a metal body phone
Display is good and the hd screen is awsme but the auto screen brightness is not working properly we have to manually adjust the screen brightness level
No heating issue faced till now

This phone is very good (16GB). If want to use two sim then i suggest you go for 32 GB variant because you can either use one sim & one card or two sims at a time. If receive this phone with miui 7 then i suggest you to hold on and do update as miui 8 doesn't allows users to disable google apps so if you are not a fan google apps then hold until new updates comes with a fix for this issue but if you don't care much about space then go ahead and update to miui 8. The phone is a good performer though while playing(riptide renegade) I never experienced any lag...sound is good...redmi note 3 is very well built in this price segment.

There seems to be some issue with this phone. Despite trying different things like restarting the phone, resetting the phone, changing the sound settings, I am unable to hear anything whether I play a video or try to play a ringtone. This is weird since when I change the ring volume in settings the phone plays a sound but when trying to listen to ringtone or music or youtube video there is absolutely no audio output.

I am trying to contact MI help center but no luck in connecting with them ...
