Adity Chakravarti is a professional artist and blogger. She was born and brought up in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Over the past thirty years she has lived in different countries across the world, including China, Canada, Switzerland, Romania, Bangladesh, Tanzania and Ireland. In most of these she worked with local artists and exhibited her paintings. Her interaction with various artists and social groups in these countries, especially Ireland, and her admiration for cultures that protect their heritage, led her to write a blog about rapidly disappearing old homes in India.
