A really great book for me and "those readers who,from a general scientific and philosophical point of view, are interested in the theory, but who are not conversant with the mathematical apparatus". I am mainly attracted by the preface. It is written in simple language.I have read it with rapt attention.But I have gone through some chapters again and again to visualize and understand the fact.Read it . You definitely like it.

This is relativity explained by Einstein himself, without using math. There might have been a plain English explanation that is slightly more crisp, however, would you not want to read it from the master himself? The special relativity section is especially clear, and detailed. The section on general relativity is rather brief, and gives you the sense that it is just a flavor, not the full story.
