Critical Praise. "In my interviews with over 30 of the best traders of our time, there were some questions that I raised in each conversation. One of these was: Are there any books that you found particularly valuable and would recommend to aspiring traders? By far, the most frequent response was Reminiscences of a Stock Operator-a book that was over 70 years old!" -from the Foreword by Jack Schwager Author of Market Wizards and The New Market Wizards "Although Reminiscences.was first published some 70 years ago, its take on crowd psychology and market timing is as timely as last summer's frenzy on the foreign exchange markets." -Worth magazine "The most entertaining book written on investing is Reminiscences of a Stock Operator, by Edwin Lefevre, first published in 1923." -The Seattle Times "The best book I've read is Reminiscences of a Stock Operator. I keep a supply for people who come to work for me." -Martin Zweig "After 20 years and many re-reads, Reminiscences is still one of my all-time favorites." -Kenneth L. Fisher Forbes First published in 1923, Reminiscences of a Stock Operator is the fictionalized biography of Jesse Livermore, one of the greatest speculators ever.Reminiscences remains the most widely read, highly recommended investment book ever written. Generations of investors have found that it has more to teach them about themselves and other investors than years of experience in the market. This is a timeless tale that will enrich the lives-and portfolios-of today's investors as it has those of generations past.

    Just wow!

one of the wonderful book i have ever read. The book doesn't teach you about which stocks to buy and which to sell . The book is about one of the great person jesse livermore it tells you what all problems he faced in his trading life and how he managed to solve it by himself. Give it a read once in a few months and your sentiment will improve towards the market. The paper quality of the book is not that good comparing to the other book by wiley.

Must Read for Trader & Speculator

Much read for every trader or speculator, you will find very useful idea every time you read. its bible for any kind of trader or speculator. i would say timeless piece of advice given into it.. Words are too short for it to describe its worth. Jesse was a character larger then life in its own time.

Book consider to be written on Jesse Livermore and on its trading style, his mistake, his limitation and how did he overcome it. It complete guide for trader. it do not say what to speculate or ...

    A timeless classic! Buy it.

The book was first published in 1923, just years before the great depression of 1929. The book is ancient, but it yet remains most relevant today if you want to understand how the stock market functions. It is a fictionalized biography of probably the most famous speculator of the early 1900’s. The book is adapted from a series of articles written by Edwin Lefevre. The author takes you inside the mind of Jesse Livermore from when he starts out as a kid and earns a reputation of being a “boy p...

    Classic book on technical analysis

A must for any one who wants to make money on the stocks. Several information, if understood properly, could be applied even now to make a decent money in the market. One has to read and re read to understand the concepts presented in the book and how Jessie livermore applied the same to make millions in the market.

    A Classic !!!!!

After reading the book one realizes that things haven't actually changed in the last 100 years if u look at Market Psychology & Irrationality. This book written about a 100 years ago is a vivid account of Mr Larry Livingston's journey as a stock operator/trader. How he went through his years of success, followed by years of terrible failure and the valuable lessons that he learnt along the way. Doesn't matter if you are an investor or a trader, this book is a must read !!!!
