Cocopeat is a natural organic soil supplement which prevents the soil from hardening and keeps it loose, besides improving the water retention capacity and providing essential plant nutrients. Coco peat brick is also known as coir pith or coir dust, it's made from coconut husks. Coco peat primarily consists of the coir fiber pith or coir dust which is obtained by processing coconut husk and removing the long fibers. The properties of Coco Peat make it resistant to bacterial and fungal growth. Coco Peat has the ability to store and release nutrient to plants for extended periods of time. It also has great oxygenation properties which is important for healthy root development.
