Page-turner

RIP is a impressive page-turner with the author doing well in whipping a fascinating subterfuge and the book has that simple and lucid manner of storytelling with the attention drawn in dot on the decadent in the society amazingly articulated. There are varied ways in which you will like this volume which you can take delight in as a felony narrative as also you can get contentment for its obvious co-relation with the present India.

A moral dilemma, but a cracking book...

This book is a moral dilemma: but a cracking and readable book. It is one of the fastest paced books I have read, with a superb action-oriented plot combined with a classy and gentle love story skilfully woven into the texture of the main plot. It makes for an awesome read - you will not be able to put it down till you have completed it, that much is assured. The character development is superb, and believable. The action and the strategy has to be the best I have come across - which makes se...

Engrossing book

Mukul Deva gets better at this thing.... Much more realistic than Clancy (Ra-Ra Americanism type). I have bought & read the entire Lashkar series, and this one tops the chart in terms of unpredictability.

A complete page turner

The cover- It is very well designed with the army official holding a gun, the strategic placement of the syringe upside down and the replacement of the "I" in the title with a bullet make up for the perfect setting for what happens inside the book.
The Title-The name of the book RIP stands for the Resurgent Indian Patriots who call themselves the K-team, simply because all the six team members have their first names staring with the letter K.
The plot and narration- The plot line is simple an...

Engrossing piece of work !

RIP by Mukul Dev is a remarkably woven thriller set in modern India . The story starts with a group of ex commandos diligently putting to action their plan of extinguishing evil minds fom the face of our country . The story propells forward effortlessly , leaving the reader more and more intrigued about the coming events . A romance comes to play in the chief protagonist's life midway and the scenes dealing with the same have been thoroughly sketched out . All in all a must read for every tr...

A Good Start to a Series

RIP is thrilling, gripping, and flows smoothly but lacks a little in the plot. The plot is simplistic and at times too easy. A few more twists and turns would have benefited the book immensely. However, if a series is in the offing, then it's a good starting point - I am hoping for the intensity to scale up. An overall good read.

Kill the Corrupt! Is it the answer to the country's problems?

One is disillusioned by the crime and corruption around us. Is this the India that our freedom-fighters had envisaged for us. 60 plus years of independence and to what effect. The rich get richer, the poor remain poor and the politicians are corrupt to the core. RIP is a about a crack team of ex-commandoes who go on an assassination spree to instil fear. There is another corrupt set of ex-miltarymen who have been hired by a corrupt minister to track the RIP team. An honest intelligence office...

An Excellent Thriller From Top To Bottom

This is an excellent read from Mukul Deva, once again, as his previous books. Right since the beginning of the book, it grips you tightly and won't let you leave it until you reach up to the end, thrilled, excited, engrossed - and shout "bottoms up".

A group of army men retired or left prematurely due to some or the other reasons, have still lot of fire left inside them to fight against the enemy. But this time the enemy inside the house is bigger than the one on the border. That is why the...
