Description
The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328 ."Uno" means one in Italian and is named to mark the upcoming release of Arduino 1.0. It has 14 digital input/output pins , 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started. The Uno differs from all preceding boards in that it does not use the FTDI USB-to-serial driver chip. Instead, it features the Atmega16U2Atmega8U2 up to version R2) programmed as a USB-to-serial converter.
The Arduino UNO can be powered via the USB connection or with an external power supply. The power source is selected automatically. External (non-USB) power can come either from an AC-to-DC adapter (wall-wart) or battery. The adapter can be connected by plugging a 2.1mm center-positive plug into the board's power jack. Leads from a battery can be inserted in the Gnd and Vin pin headers of the POWER connector. The board can operate on an external supply of 6 to 20 volts. If supplied with less than 7V, however, the 5V pin may supply less than five volts and the board may be unstable. If using more than 12V, the voltage regulator may overheat and damage the board. The recommended range is 7 to 12 volts.

Build quality not excellent, but good.
Plug and play, easily driver installation. Need not browse for driver, as it says in official Arduino site.
Strongly recommended if you are beginner.
Attached USB cable is short and not good quality, so I'm not using it, bought a new one.
And color is not light blue, it's dark blue.
And , of course, it's nothing without starter kit, like a smartphone is nothing without at least 512kbps internet.

Value-for-money
If you want to study robotics or microcontroller programming. This is the best place to start. There are lot of online material and community available. Even this has the capability to be used in commercial product. All you need is passion to learn and little imagination, rest is fun. I have made some cool robots as a hobbiest and I am in serious pursuit to make daily useful product. It is very helpful for geeks or anyone who wants to try robotics dream.

The board is great and can be used easily.It is supplied with a connecting wire for connecting board to your PC to upload codes to the board.
The only thing i doubt is that the board is supplied in a sealed pack other than the flipkart's packing and is not supplied in its companies original packing.As arduino is a Open Source Development platform.The board's design can be copied and remade to sell in the market.So the only thing is that this is a copy not a original from company but It is goo...

Good product.
The board is quiet small.But it works well.Its best for first time arduino users.It comes with an usb cable so no need to buy a separate usb cable.And as usual the flipkart service was awesome.

Cheaper Clone which works like a charm.
This is an Arduino Uno Clone/Counterfeit!
And a really Hard one to Catch (Atleast the one I got was almost Identical to the original).
Having said that, it works like it should and haven't encountered any problems with it's working.
For those who want to work with an Arduino, but have budget constraints, buy this clone.
For those who can afford the original, buy it and support the developers so that they can improve the products.

Good start for beginners
Got the product delivered before time. Thumbs Up to flipkart delivery.
Its a decent microcontroller board very suitable for beginners. The ATmega chip is a 32KB IC. Good start for DIY Project makers.

Very Nice! Arduino Uno
I bought this Arduino Uno from Flipkart. The Arduino board doesn't had a box but yes! after checking it was approved that its original and its working fine. And actually Flipkart is giving this for a cheaper price than its selling price. So finally it was a nice experience buying this Arduino from flipkart. Oh! I forgot to mention that I got it delivered in my home for Cash On Delivery within 3 days.
