But with this WiShield 3.0 which is compatible with Arduino UNO and Mega, the data speed is much more and it transmits pictures and videos wirelessly.

Maximum Data Speed

Using a UART Wi-Fi module, you have a data speed of 112.5 Kbps, but with an Arduino Wi-Fi shield, you have a maximum data speed of 2 Mbps.

SPI Interface

With this new Aduino Wi-Fi shield, you can send and receive data through the SPI interface.

Supports AES Encryption

This new shield also supports an AES encryption which makes it safer to transmit your data, like pictures and videos.
