    A:Yes It will work with Nikon D5200 and D5300. But the Quality is mono sound so you have to convert it into stereo sound in editing software. Quality of Mic is Good indoor but noisy outdoors.

    A:Won't catch samsung j5 this mic does not work with mobiles i have Samsung on max and htc didnt work on either of them however , works great on laptops(separate headphone and mic input) and dslr .
