Timeless and still the best!
This is the book that so many generations of the 20th Century have cut their teeth on, and it still rocks in the 21st Century.
There are so many reasons to go for this rather than the snazzier Thesauruses out there-
-- it's cheap (so you can use it freely and not be afraid of losing a lot of money if you lose/ damage) it.
-- It's much more exhaustive compared even to the more expensive ones.
-- For oldies like me (~40 ish), the comfort value is immense.
