Summary of the Book
Rusty isn’t what you would call an adventurous lad, but the most amazing things happen to happen around him all the time. In these stories, you will find him having to deal with his grandfather’s pet python and Uncle Ken. While visiting his father in Java, Rusty survives a plane crash in the Arabian Sea. When he is in India, readers will find him reviving his grandma’s days as a young girl through an old photograph. Suddenly, things take a different turn as something unexpected results in Rusty having to leave Dehra. What do you think his future holds for him now? About Ruskin Bond
Ruskin Bond is an Indian writer of British descent. He was recognized by The Indian Council for Child Education for his role in the growth of children’s literature in India. For this, he was awarded the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1992 for his work Our Trees Still Grow in Dehra. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 1999, and again in 2014. Today, he lives with his adopted family in Landour, near Mussoorie.
