Ah, finally review time. I was so excited to read this book. One can read this in one sitting. But I couldn't. It took me two days to complete this book. I was thinking she was struggler, hard childhood and all. No. She had very very secured childhood, teenage, family support and all. In fact, when she came to bombay in searching for her future, and staying as paying guest, she shared about her discomfort as in delhi she used to stay in bigger house, but in bombay very small room. Heartfelt and sincere Neena Gupta's biography is nice little insight into how the Bollywood industry works, how everything that glitters isn't gold. The complexities of family and being a working single parent are beautifully portrayed by her. She keeps adding these little thoughts and observations after every incident which summarises what she had learnt from her experience.
It's quite a nice read, and recommended.
