Mohammad Aleem is a prolific novelist, playwright, script writer and journalist. He has written many novels as Rabia Through All Joys and Sorrows, Sacred Solitude, Three Strange Prophecies, Jo Aman Mili To Kahan Mili (Urdu and Hindi, 1998) and Mere Nalon Ki Gumshudah Awaz (Penguin Books, India, Urdu and Hindi, 2008). He has also written stage plays as Imam-e-Hind: Rama, Rabia & Amrita and Sahir: Ek Amar Prem Katha. He won the many prestigious awards like Sanskriti Award for Literature in 1998, Urdu Academy Delhi Award, Hindi Academy Delhi Award, Senior Fellowship Award by Ministry of Culture, Government of India and ICN Journalism Award. His long association with film, television and radio as a scriptwriter is also a commendable thing to add to his creative biography.
