About the product - 1. This non contact thermometer uses advanced technology to measure temperature of the body and any non living object. 2. It's easy and very quick to use.It doesn't need contact with the body or the object to ensure safety and hygiene. It's ergonomic design makes it possible to measure the temperature with in seconds. It can measure the temperature from 0 to 100 degrees Celsius.(32.0 °Fahrenheit). It takes body temperature, & it also takes the surface temperature of object as below, - (a) Surface temperature of milk bottle (b) Surface temperature of baby bath (c) Environment temperature 4. Alarm sounds when body temperature is over 37.5 °C 5. Memory function - It stores up to 1 sets recent measurement data. 6. Auto power off, if left idle for 60 seconds. 7. Measurement - Measurement time interval in 15 seconds and the measurement distance is within 5-8cm. Please read the manual carefully before you use the unit and keep for future reference. Safety info - 1. Please place the device unreachable by young 2. Avoid direct sunlight. 3. Do not touch the lens. 4. No modifications of this device is allowed 5. The swallowing of small parks like packing bag battery battery cover and so on may cause the suffocation 6. Never leave battery in the battery compartment for a long time without use as they may leak. Precautions information - Ensure the selection knob is placed correctly . To avoid mistake , seal it at the 'body' selection by means of cello tape or silicon and for 'object' likewise. 2. Restrict using of thermometer in indoor areas only . Outdoor may tamper temperature readings. 3. Allow a resting time of 15 mins before taking the reading if coming from outdoor exposure. 4. Make sure the testing area is not covered by any temperature altering secondary layer such as thermal clothes etc. 5. Maintain the distance between testing area & thermometer within 1 cm to 10 cm. 6. Keep away from children . Avoid unwanted usage.

Worth every penny
Good Product for measuring pets temperature. I am having a pet, and I really don't like the way which doctors follow to take my pet's temperature. So I purchased this IR thermometer, which provides the temperature within seconds .Really liked it.

Easy to use and handle. Works as expected. Got three color led on the reading screen for easy assessment and decision making.
No AAA battery supplied with the thermometer, so that is a bit of let down.
Has an object temperature mode in the range of 0-100 degree Celsius but haven't used it much.
Over all a good purchase for the price point. Hope they honor the one year warranty claim if and when the time comes.

My child was not accepting thermometer as she wasn’t able to keep it under her armpit - this solved the problem and gives reading in 4 seconds in Celsius with green light if it’s fine and red if it’s high

A:Press setting button (SET),screen will display F1 with C, showing it is in C. Press + button, to change it to F. Now screen will show F, now press SET again. Now screen will show F now press SET again
