SALO Orthotics Wrist Hand Orthosis ( or Full Cock-up Splint ) is used in cases like Rheumatoid Arthritis, Radial Nerve Palsy, Wrist Drop, Flaccid Hand, Paralysis, Stroke, Hemiplegia, etc. It is a tough, resilient and light weight Hand Splint used to hold the affected area in a neutral position and prevents the palm from bending forward, thus keeping pressure off the median nerve. It holds the wrist and MP joints of the fingers straight to reduce stress on muscles and tendons. 7 hook & loop straps are provided that help to grip the wrist & palm in the desired position. It has a uniquely designed thumb abductor which supports optimal positioning. This splint has a thick layer of skin friendly foam padding which ensures hand comfort and no micro organism growth even after continuous use.
