I have been using this for last 2 years. Used in almost 15-17 treks.
I didnt buy it from flipkart though. (got it for 2700 :))

Provides the quintessential dependable Salomon stability and grip you need on rainy treks.....or standing your ground with the wife :) Point being it is versatile and comfortable. Good for the mountains, gym or a casual outing.
The folding heel is useful - just slip it on like a sandal to save time.
So pros - tough, rugged, dries quickly, good for varied usage.
And cons - the only minor one is you have to keep tightening the heel straps (when you do use them) every half hour or so. But ...

Ever since I bought these 5 months ago, my Woodlands, Aldos, Timberlands, Crocs etc.. have all been dying a slow death being buried alive under dust.
The techamphibians are the only pair of footwear I use now. I use it for hiking, trail running, long bicycle rides, general tomfoolery in town etc. I wear it work, to weddings, to meetings and everywhere else I can't show up barefoot. These have performed great under all conditions.
I wear them without socks and the anti-stink tech really work...

if there was a negative rating, it would apply here totally... wore them for the first time for a trek and guess what the whole sole broke off in the first trip itself... for both the shoes... either these are fake salomon or this company is dumping their rejected stock in our country...

Good fit, comfortable, airy, dries/drains fast with good grip on dry surfaces during hiking/trekking.

Disappointing grip & dangerous on wet /algae covered surfaces encountered in streams and river's !

This is the first time I am buying a shoe online and it matches my feet to the dot. Flipkart did a good job of delivering the product, but unfortunately did not meet the original stated SLA for timeline. A first! where Flipkart had to change the product delivery date from the original timeline.

I had opted for a slightly yellow border but got a red border one and since the product is discontinued not requested for a return. A second! where Flipkart sends a different choice to what was reque...

I bought these shoes since i travel quite a bit and i thought that these shoes would be ideal for long travel as well as treks in hot weather.
It took me about two wears to break them in...the sides were pinching slightly at first but now it has softened up and become much more comfortable.
