This book only gives overview of the things but has skipped the detailed part , so it is not a good one for beginners because various topics like smartforms and idocs are not covered but any one with a prior knowledge of abap can go for it.

This book is good to use and the plus point is it comes with a CD which gives all the examples and codes portrayed in the book for the users to use them directly on SAP R/3

Awesome book and got on time...

It explains everything in layman's terms. Very very useful for starters. I passed the exam only because of this book. :P :D

The best book I have ever read for ABAP. Through this I started and learn as much as I can, I was afraid that without SAP Platform will I be able to learn ABAP, but CD and this book figure makes me easy to understand the core concept.
