Though I am not new to the Java programming, still this book seems interesting and a fun to readout. The sense of humor of the author is remarkable. It is not an in-dept type of book. You can't expect much from a teach your self in24 hrs book. But could be a introductory one. At least you won't get bore even if you are an expert in the field. Writing style is very nice and concise.

First of all, this is not a book to learn all the concepts of java in depth. This can be thought of just an introduction to the most used features of java without digging into too deep. The author has written many java books , around 20. So he is able to present the materials in a simple but effective way. Please don't blame the book for not being an in depth book, cause it was never meant to be that. I guess 2 or sometimes 3 chapters can be finished within one hour.

A book more than enough to get you feet wet in Java.
One cannot learn java in 24 hours for sure but this book allows you to know all areas of java and start working on it.
Its a must buy .
