The Galaxy Ace Duos I589 is the latest addition to the existing line of dual SIM phones from Samsung. This is a bar shaped mobile phone that features card slots to accommodate both CDMA and GSM SIM cards. Good phone
I had no other option prior to this as no other Android phone matched my requirement of CDMA/GSM (except Micromax and so on).
The reasons to buy this phone are:
1) CDMA/GSM compatibility. Both are active. If on call on one network, you still get call waiting on other number with an option to decline or connect to the new call (ending the first call). The second caller hears a ring go through though you are...

DUAL ACTIVE! DUAL NETWORK!
ANROID IN DUAL! That means lots n lots of app.
Better Battery! a new 1650mAh replacing 1300mAh
However downgraded camera! But let me tell you, megapixel is only for print out size, camera clarity is by lens quality. Its AWESOME quality won my heart.
SAME DISPLAY SIZE! however no scratch resistant glass:( BUT DISPLAY HAS SAME SCREEN RESOLUTION :)

Not so good!
I have bought it from a Samsung Smartphone Store and I have to admit I have a horrible experience with this mobile.
The battery gets dried up in 9-10 hours even though if I am not using internet. Plus when you are charging it, it becomes very hot within some time.
Nothing great about it except the fact that is is dual active and CDMA+GSM combo.

Could Have Delivered More...
PROS
- a very good display
- very good music audio quality
- very good music player, one of the best among samsung galaxy series.
CONS
But it also has it's dark side.
- battery is very poor.
- Low internal memory of no use, can not install app.
- cannot play FLV files
- two cdma sim does not work at same time.
- only one CDMA and one GSM sim works at same time
- EV-DO modem is there no gprs or GSM 3G modem
Please avoid these handset if you want to be a power user, buy...
