This is my first smartphone of touch screen. I have never purchased phone other than nokia.

Galaxy R initially came out at 30.5k and hence so many negative reviews because at the same price you get Galaxy S2 which is the best phone is the market. Period.

The lovely screen on the SGR is awesome, combined with the dual core processor and good software the web browsing experience is a pleasant one.

On the other hand, O2X sucks while loading pages. It is mighty choppy (check online too) due to the crappy software. You have other options to root it to improve performance, but why risk the warranty for a year?!

Well folks I have conformation from official flipkart customer care saying this is the fastest selling item in their entire website and they are trying to get it in stock but are not sure if it will happen even in a week...all stores outside have also declared this item out of stock(~24k)

i have been using this phone since 2 weeks. i have heard about several problems in this phone like screen orientation problem due to mall functioning of accelerometer,phone not responding after calls before buying this phone. But i have never faced any of those problems.
cons:
1. battery life is average.It will just take me throgh the day for a medium to heavy usage

Yes, there was a big confusion which one to go for-LG Optimus 2x or Samsung Galaxy R. Certainly LG Optimus 2x has better features with

Guys its excellent phone with best display i have ever seen(20k range)....even though the 8gb internal memory,user available space is 3.75 gb which is quite ok:)When you compare with S2,AMO led,internal memory and camera seems to be lagging,Even the sound effect is not tat gr8 when u listen using earphones.Other than tat this is an steal at 20k trust me....I strongly recommend this product.

Samsung has got overconfidence after the success of galaxy s2...people dont buy every product of Samsung at the cost of one success product...and one more thing Nokia is Back with better platform(software) and never beaten fantastic hardware.. Samsung, Pricing is very sensitive specially for Indian Market. So price accordingly your Device...Rest is Good.....

First would like to commend Flipkart service. Received the product within 3 days of ordering with excellent packaging.
